Shivering Foal Guided Off Flooded Pallets to the Safety of the Barn

A young chestnut foal stranded on wet wooden pallets in a flooded farmyard has been guided to stable ground in a bodycam rescue filmed during heavy morning rain.
The first-person footage, recorded on 2024-04-30 at 06:52:17, opens on the small foal standing nervously on the slippery pallets, its reddish-brown coat soaked through and a distinctive white blaze running down its face. Muddy floodwater surrounds the pallets on every side, rain sheets across the yard, and the red barn, hay bales and horse trailers stand blurred in the gray dawn light while two adult horses watch from the paddock fence.
The rescuer, wearing a dark forest-green waterproof jacket, black protective gloves and a utility harness with ropes and metal carabiners, approaches slowly with both hands extended. The foal lowers its head, shifts its weight and splashes muddy water around its hooves, ears flicking with every movement.
One gloved hand settles against the foal’s shoulder and the other supports its upper chest. Steadied by the touch, the foal picks its way carefully off the pallets and through the shallow floodwater, taking two small, deliberate steps while the pallets creak underfoot behind it.
At the barn entrance, the rescuer guides the foal up onto a raised, stable section of dry footing — where a chestnut mare is already waiting in the doorway among the hay bales. The foal steps up, stands taller and turns its head toward the camera, ears moving gently, while the rescuer keeps one reassuring hand against its shoulder.
No music plays over the clip — just heavy rain on the barn roof, splashing hooves, quiet snorts, a distant neigh, muddy footsteps and the soft clink of rescue gear.
