76-Year-Old Georgia Woman Accused of Killing Ex-Husband and His 40-Year-Old Girlfriend in Double Homicide

A shocking shooting in rural Georgia has left two people dead and another injured. Grace Edge, 76, has been arrested and accused of killing her ex-husband, Wallace Truman Edge, 75, and his girlfriend, Pamela Cook, 40, at a home in Toombs County.

According to investigators, the shooting happened on October 19, 2026, at a residence in Uvalda. Authorities allege that Grace entered the home and opened fire, killing Wallace and Pamela. Pamela’s mother, 55-year-old Diane Cook, was also shot in the arm but survived. She reportedly called 911 during the terrifying incident.

Investigators say Grace and Wallace had been divorced for more than a decade but reportedly maintained an on-and-off relationship. Authorities believe the situation changed after Wallace began dating Pamela, and officials told local media that Grace appeared unwilling to accept the new relationship.

Following the shooting, Grace reportedly drove to the sheriff’s office and turned herself in. She faces multiple charges, including malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault, and is being held at the Toombs County Detention Center.

Authorities had reportedly responded to numerous domestic disputes involving the former couple in the past, although no arrests had been made in those earlier incidents.

The investigation is ongoing, and the accusations against Grace Edge have yet to be proven in court.

Two lives were lost, and another person was injured in a case that has shocked the local community. Investigators are now working to establish the full circumstances behind the deadly shooting.
