Stranded Beside Broken Solar Panels, a Muddy Goat Kid Is Guided to Safety After a Landslide

A small goat kid, soaked and covered in mud, was rescued from a landslide damaged mountain road after becoming stranded beside broken solar panels and unstable debris.

Bodycam footage from the rescue shows the frightened kid standing on slippery ground, with misty cliffs, waterfalls, and fresh rockfall all around him. Every step was uncertain, and the edge of the road was dangerously close.

Wearing an orange waterproof rescue jacket, black gloves, and rope rescue gear, the rescuer moved slowly toward the animal. Crouching to keep balance on the wet mud, the rescuer extended both hands and spoke softly through calm, steady movements.

At first, the goat shifted nervously. But as the rescuer steadied him and supported his weight, the little animal began to calm down. Step by careful step, he was guided away from the unstable edge and the landslide debris toward a safer part of the road.

The rescue ended with the goat kid standing on firmer ground, safe from the slope that had trapped him just moments before.
