TEXAS MOM ACCUSED OF ATTACKING HER HUSBAND AND TWO YOUNG CHILDREN — POLICE CALL THE CASE “HEARTBREAKING”

A quiet Texas neighborhood was shaken early Tuesday morning after police rushed to a family home following a frantic call from a father who said his wife had attacked him and their two young children.

Holly Flores, 37, was arrested on October 6 after Northlake police responded to the home around 4:30 a.m. Her husband, 34, reportedly told dispatchers that Flores had attacked him and the children. (people.com)

Inside the home, officers found the husband with an injury to his head. Their 3-year-old daughter and just 10-month-old son had also been injured. All three were taken to the hospital, where they remained under observation.

Thankfully, authorities said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, and the children were expected to recover. Flores was also taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries before being booked into the Denton County Jail. (people.com)

Flores now faces two counts of attempted capital murder involving children under 10 and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to arrest records reviewed by PEOPLE.
