🚨 “HE IS A GREAT NEIGHBOR” — RETIRED NYPD DETECTIVE’S ARREST IN ALLEGED ROAD-RAGE MURDER LEAVES QUIET NEW YORK SUBURB IN SHOCK

A quiet New York community is struggling to make sense of a shocking arrest after a retired NYPD detective was accused of killing a father of two in an alleged road-rage shooting.

Neighbors say they are stunned by the allegations, describing the man they knew as friendly, helpful and a good neighbor.

Victor Romero, 62, was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Koran Irvine, 46, who was shot while driving across the George Washington Bridge on October 20, according to reports.

Irvine was rushed to a hospital but later died from his injuries, leaving his family facing an unimaginable loss.

💔 “He is a great neighbor.”

That sentiment captures the disbelief felt by residents who say they never expected to hear such serious accusations against someone in their community.

Romero reportedly retired from the NYPD in 2001 after being injured in an earlier off-duty shooting. His arrest has now placed the quiet suburb at the center of a disturbing criminal investigation.

Meanwhile, Irvine’s death has left loved ones mourning a devoted family man. He worked for Con Edison and had recently celebrated 20 years with the company.

Investigators are working to establish exactly what happened before the fatal shooting and what may have triggered the confrontation.

Romero faces a murder charge, but the allegations have not been proven in court.

⚠️ A neighborhood is left searching for answers, while one family must learn to live with the devastating loss of someone they loved.
