🤠 UNTIL THE LAST SUNSET

PART 1
He Told Me to Find Another Man… But My Heart Had Already Chosen Him.
The day my cowboy told me he no longer loved me was the day my world fell apart.
His name was Ethan Walker.
He was the kind of man every woman in town secretly admired — tall, handsome, stubborn, with sun-kissed skin and eyes that could make even the coldest winter feel warm.
But to me, he was more than a handsome cowboy.
He was my home.
We had dreamed of growing old together on his little ranch, watching the sunset from the porch, raising children, and dancing beneath the stars.
Until one morning, everything changed.
Ethan began avoiding my eyes. He stopped holding my hand. And the man who once kissed my forehead every morning suddenly treated me like a stranger.
Then, on a cold evening, he stood before me, his voice trembling.
“Sarah, you need to leave.”
I stared at him, unable to understand.
“What are you talking about? Did I do something wrong?”
He shook his head.
“No. You’re wonderful. That’s why you deserve someone better than me.”
I stepped closer and reached for his hand.
“Then let me decide who I deserve.”
But he pulled away.
“I don’t have much time left, Sarah.”
My heart stopped.
“What does that mean?”
He turned his back, trying desperately to hide the tears in his eyes.
“I have an illness. The doctor says there’s nothing more they can do. I don’t want you watching me die. I want you to find another man… someone who can give you the future I promised.”
I felt the ground disappear beneath my feet.
He had been suffering alone.
And while I had been dreaming about our wedding, he had been preparing to say goodbye.
I wanted to scream. I wanted to beg him to reconsider.
Instead, I walked up behind him, wrapped my arms around his waist, and whispered:
“You fool. You really think I fell in love with you because of how long you could live?”
He froze.
“I fell in love with the man who made me laugh, who danced with me in the rain, and who promised to love me until his last sunset.”
I held him tighter.
“So if your days are numbered, then let me spend every single one beside you.”
Ethan finally turned around. His tears fell freely as he whispered:
“Sarah… I can’t ask you to watch the man you love slowly disappear.”
I looked straight into his eyes.
“You don’t have to ask. I’m choosing to stay.”
But just as he pulled me into his arms, someone knocked violently on the ranch door.
A moment later, the doctor stood outside, holding an envelope.
He looked at Ethan, then at me.
“There’s something about Ethan’s diagnosis that you both need to know…”
Ethan’s face turned pale.
“Doctor… please. Not now.”
The doctor slowly opened the envelope.
And I realized that the secret Ethan had been hiding might be even more heartbreaking than I had imagined.
