COURT TESTIMONY REVEALS NEW DETAILS IN CASE OF FIREFIGHTER ACCUSED OF KILLING HIS WIFE

Former Glendale firefighter Andrew Jimenez is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of his wife, Mayra Jimenez, a 46-year-old elementary school teacher found dead inside their North Hollywood home in January 2026.

⚖️ Prosecutors allege that Jimenez killed his wife using an axe. His former attorney previously claimed that Jimenez had read his wife’s diary shortly before the incident and believed it revealed an affair. That account has not been established as the motive in court.

Jimenez has pleaded not guilty. The case has drawn attention as court proceedings examine the evidence surrounding Mayra’s death and the events leading up to it.
