4-Week-Old Baby Injured After Mom Is Allegedly Attacked by Three Women in Detroit
A 4-week-old baby boy suffered a swollen eye and facial bruising after he was allegedly thrown to the ground during an attack on his mother in Detroit, Michigan, according to reports.

The mother, who identified herself only as Taylor to protect her privacy, told FOX 2 Detroit that the incident happened on October 22. She alleged that three women related to the baby’s father invited her to a home on Detroit’s west side, claiming they wanted to see the newborn.
Taylor said the situation quickly turned violent as she was handing over the baby’s car seat. She alleged that one of the women snatched at it and that her infant son was thrown onto the ground, leaving him with visible injuries to his face.

The mother also said she was beaten for approximately 10 minutes. She described suffering multiple blows, knots on her forehead and swelling around both eyes, with one eye reportedly swollen shut. Both she and her baby were taken to the hospital, according to local reports.
Taylor told FOX 2 that neither she nor her son deserved what happened. She has since spoken publicly about the incident while keeping her identity private.
As of the latest reports, Detroit police were preparing to submit the case to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for possible charges against the three women. Authorities had not publicly confirmed charges, and the allegations remain under investigation.
