Bodycam Captures Heart-Stopping Rescue: High-Altitude Rescuer Secures Terrified Puppy on Cable-Car Tower Platform Above the Clouds

Hundreds of meters above a fog-draped evergreen forest, a small brown-and-white puppy found itself stranded on a narrow metal maintenance platform attached to a towering cable-car support structure — with nothing but mist, steel cables, and open air around it.

Chest-mounted bodycam footage from the responding high-altitude rescuer shows the delicate operation in full. The puppy, its ears wet from the mountain damp, stands trembling on the grated platform, a black rescue harness already fitted and tethered. Two black-gloved hands appear in frame, gently steadying the frightened animal as clouds drift through the valley behind it.

With wind moving across the exposed steel, the rescuer methodically checks every strap of the puppy’s harness and its attached tether, adjusting the fittings while the pup blinks and shifts its paws on the cold grating. Then, slowly and deliberately, the rescuer draws the dog away from the platform’s exposed edge toward the secure center — the animal fully supported and connected to the rescue line at all times.

In the final moments, the rescuer lifts the puppy into a secure chest-level hold, still clipped into the tower’s safety system. The pup, pressed against the teal-blue alpine jacket, visibly calms. The camera turns toward the protected maintenance ladder as a distant red cable car glides past through the fog — a quiet ending to a rescue performed entirely at altitude.

No music, no narration — just mountain wind, the faint vibration of steel, distant cable machinery, and the small whimpers of a puppy that made it home.
