A careful lift from the current

Over the first seconds, the rescuer holds the puppy steady at the embankment while the muddy current rushes past just below. The puppy presses its front paws against the soft ground and tries to climb, water dripping from its coat.

By the middle of the clip, both gloved hands are under the puppy’s chest and abdomen, gently supporting it as it scrambles upward. The camera tilts naturally with the movement as the rescuer lifts the small animal fully clear of the water and guides it onto the grassy bank.

In the final seconds, the puppy stands safely on the grass beside the rescuer. It gives a small full-body shake, sending droplets flying, then turns to look back toward the camera while the rescuer’s gloved hand rubs its shoulder reassuringly.
