HORROR NEAR PARIS: 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL SHOT 8 TIMES IN SUSPECTED RACIST TERROR ATTACK
A peaceful day in the suburbs of Paris turned into a nightmare when a gunman allegedly opened fire on people from a moving car, killing one person and injuring at least five others, including a 12-year-old girl.

The shooting unfolded on October 23 in Trappes and nearby La Verrière, where the attacker reportedly fired at people near a gas station, a medical center and a playground. The violence lasted approximately 15 minutes, leaving residents shocked and families desperately hoping their loved ones would survive.
Among the victims was a 12-year-old girl who was shot eight times and seriously wounded. Her mother said the child would need surgery, as the family faced an unimaginable ordeal.
“How could anyone do this to a child?” her mother asked, according to media reports.

A 26-year-old man, identified by the Associated Press as Pengo Bossio Wangi, was also killed. His death has left another family grieving as investigators work to establish exactly what happened.
Police arrested a 39-year-old suspect shortly after the shooting. Authorities reportedly found a submachine gun and gas grenades in his vehicle. Investigators also discovered a dangerous device involving gas canisters and electrical wires at his apartment.
French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the incident as a “racist terrorist attack,” saying the victims may have been targeted because of their skin color or perceived religion. France’s national anti-terrorism prosecutor has taken over the investigation.
As the investigation continues, a community is left confronting a devastating question: how could an ordinary day become a scene of such violence?
