Tiny Orange Kitten Rescued From Arcade Machine in Flooded Amusement Arcade

Bodycam footage shows a flood rescuer lifting a soaked orange tabby kitten to safety from the top of an arcade game machine as muddy water fills an indoor amusement center.
The rescue, recorded on a chest-mounted bodycam on 2024-09-11 at 19:08:14, begins with the tiny kitten crouched nervously on the wet surface of an arcade machine. Its golden-orange fur is soaked and clinging to its small body, its large round eyes fixed directly on the rescuer, with colorful claw machines and illuminated games lining the flooded hall behind it and plush toys floating in the muddy water.
Wearing a bright red waterproof rescue jacket, thick black waterproof gloves and a safety harness fitted with metal carabiners and utility straps, the rescuer steadies one hand on the edge of the machine and slowly extends the other toward the kitten. The kitten blinks, lets out a soft meow and cautiously sniffs the approaching glove.
The rescuer then slides both hands gently underneath the kitten, supporting its chest and hindquarters, and lifts it clear of the wet machine as water droplets fall from its fur. He holds the kitten low and secure in both cupped hands, looking down at it as it looks around quietly and begins to calm, the flooded arcade and its glowing machines still visible around them.
No other animals were seen in the immediate area in the footage. The video is a single continuous bodycam shot with only natural ambient sound — rain against the glass entrance, splashing floodwater, dripping machines and the kitten’s faint meows — and no music or narration.
